In honor of Health Literacy Month, join us to hear from a wellness expert Friday mornings in October! Each program will feature a presentation and time for a Q&A. No pre-registration needed.
All programs are at 10:30am in the library’s lower level Community Room.
Join Michelle Walters, LMSW, for a presentation and discussion on ‘Building Connection: Social Support, Belonging & Community Cohesion’. Participants will learn practical ways to strengthen their own support networks, create more inclusive spaces, and become intentional “connectors” within their communities.
Michelle Walters, LMSW, is a therapist and Director of Outreach at Michigan Therapy & Counseling. As the Director of Outreach, she focuses on helping individuals create connection, build relationships and build bridges to improve access to mental health supports and services.
