Volunteer Opportunities at the Library
A range of volunteer opportunities are available at the library whether you are interested in volunteering weekly, 1-2 times per month, or 1-2 times per year. Volunteers are required to participate in a background check, per the library’s Personnel Policy. Email director@sbbdl.org if you are interested in a volunteer opportunity at the library.

WEEKLY
Fill bird feeders
Take recycling to recycling center

1-2 MONTHLY
Shelf read to make sure materials are on the shelves in the correct order
Shelve materials
Dust shelves
Wash stuffed animals
Organize and wipe out S.T.E.M. kits (educational toys)

1-2 YEARLY
Design display case
Man book sale table at author talk
Minor repair projects
