Book Sales & Donation Update for 2020

The Friends of the Suttons Bay Bingham District Library will NOT hold their annual book sale in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is typically held in conjunction with the Suttons Bay Art Festival in August, which has also been cancelled. Due to this cancellation, the Friends will not be accepting book donations until further notice.

Thank you for your support through book purchases and donations through the years. We hope to be back with our Annual Book Sale in 2021.

The Huge Annual Book Sale

The Friends of the Suttons Bay Bingham District Library hold their annual book sale the first weekend of August in conjunction with the Suttons Bay Art Festival.

Each year, the sale includes thousands of fantastic books and media including contemporary fiction, rare & unique books, a marvelous Michigan collection, a great cook book collection, phenomenal gardening books, as well as non-fiction of all sorts and so much more.

This sale is one of the largest fundraisers for the library and in the past has helped fund the renovation of the Community Meeting Room, the entryway, the bathrooms, as well as expand both the audio book and large print collections amongst many other things.

Yet the sale could not happen without your support both through book purchases and donation.
