October Wellness Series: Erica O’Neal

Join physical therapist and pelvic floor specialist Dr. Erica O’Neal for a presentation on “Pelvic Health Basics: Much More Than Kegels”. Pelvic health is an important part of overall well-being, but it’s often left out of the conversation. In this talk with Dr. Erica O’Neal, we’ll cover the essentials—what’s normal, what’s not, and what you can do to support your body. We’ll discuss common concerns like leaking, bowel issues, pelvic, back, or hip pain, and prolapse. You’ll learn practical tips for managing everyday symptoms, as well as how to recognize when it’s time to seek professional help. Nothing is off-limits here—this is a safe, open space to ask questions and leave with tools to feel more confident and informed about your health.

Dr. Erica O’Neal is a licensed Physical Therapist, certified Certified Brain Injury Specialist,  Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a trained pelvic health therapist at Trailhead Physical Therapy in Traverse City. She grew up in Leelanau County and loves walking the beach, exploring the many trails around this gorgeous area, and enjoying all this beautiful region has to offer. She wants to help you enjoy this area as much as she does.

In honor of Health Literacy Month, join us to hear from a wellness expert Friday mornings in October! Each program will feature a presentation and time for a Q&A. No pre-registration needed!

All programs are at 10:30am in the library’s lower level Community Room.
