Leelanau County public libraries invite you to join a county-wide discussion of the historical novel We Hope For Better Things by Erin Bartels, a 2020 Michigan Notable Book. The dialogue will begin with a live Q & A with author Erin Bartels at 7pm on Wednesday, November. The following week, two discussion sessions will be available for you to join – the first at 2pm on Wednesday, November 18 and the second at 7pm on Thursday, November 19. All events will be held via Zoom. You are welcome to attend just one or all three events. The first ten patrons to register at each library will receive a free copy of the book; visit or call your local library to register. The book is available to borrow from your local library or through the Up North Digital Collection, or to purchase at your local bookstore.
