Calling all homeschool families!
We’d love to have your family join us for a Homeschool Hangout on Wednesday, March 19th from 10:30am -12pm.
Since we are The Library, our thought is to focus our attention on literacy. For this first session, we ask that your students bring with them a favorite book, or the book they are currently reading. After we gather for an introductory snack, we’ll split the kids into two groups, 5-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. Anyone younger will be the responsibility of the parent, who will be expected to stay on the premises for the duration of the program.
Once into our groups, we will plan to casually share thoughts about the books- so have your student(s) be ready for this. We’ll also hope to have time for a fun activity followed by the opportunity for all the students present to interact with our staff and gain our support in using the library for any school or personal projects or desires.
